Jack Muma 1974

After serving in the Navy during World War II (he retired from the Naval Reserve in 1972), our Dad, Jack Muma, started Hudson & Muma in our basement in 1954. Our Mom, Dolores, answered the phone and was his acting administrative assistant until the pressing duties of a growing family caused him to seek office space – and office assistance – elsewhere (much to our Mom’s relief). Eventually there were five siblings, three of whom now carry on our Dad’s legacy.

Of all the lessons we learned from our years of growing up and working with him, some stand out above the rest.

• God, Country, Family.

• Honesty, sincerity, and integrity are hallmarks of a good insurance agent – and a good person.

• Insurance is not just a commodity, like buying a pair of shoes; it affords protection and peace of mind, allowing our clients to pursue their dreams, whether personal or professional.

• Strive to give back as much as possible to the community that has given so much to us.

• Quality doesn’t always equal the lowest price.

Our agency represents only the most financially-sound, responsible insurance carriers that have demonstrated their honesty and integrity. We are active in our community as an agency and as individuals, and have given of our time, talent, and treasure to national and local causes. Watch our Facebook page for postings!

We’re very proud that you have chosen us to help you safeguard your family, your business, your home, etc. and will endeavor to do all we can to continue to merit your trust.

“We have worked with Hudson & Muma for the past 15 years. As we have grown and evolved, what I have valued most about our relationship is that Hudson & Muma knows us and our business.”
